When my daughter was in pre-school, she hated it! She would cry when I dropped her off and would wait by the door for my return. One day after I picked her up, she told me about a new boy, and that he cried all day long. I asked her if she tried to talk to him and she said he wouldn’t talk to anyone. After a couple of days, I came to pick my daughter up and this time she wasn’t waiting at the door for me. The teacher happily explained that my daughter started to read to the little boy and that he stopped crying. Every day their little friendship blossomed until they were best buds, no longer sad and lonely but brave and happy! I’ve attached a photo of them, at my daughter’s birthday party – Jennifer T.
