I came across this article on the RBC site and I thought the CanadaLoves community might appreciate it as well.

I think we’re all finding these times a little challenging, to say the least, and in my experience, these six reminders are simple but powerful when one is able to embrace them and keep them top of mind as they go about their day.

I was feeling burnt out a few years ago and I realized I was trying to force things too much, trying to control everything, and thus worrying about everything. I knew that mentality and approach were not sustainable and I had to start letting go of some things.

Believe it or not, the world kept turning without me intensely focused on trying to control the outcome of everything around me. Eventually, I started to feel like I was in flow with the world around me.

Let’s not allow ourselves to be paralyzed between the regrets of yesterday and the fears of tomorrow. We’re all doing the best we can with what we have, remember to cut yourself and those around you some slack.

Here’s the story: Simple Reminders for Slowing (and Calming) Down.
